Description

Start the new year with a new hobby! In this brief 2-hour class you will learn some basics about glassblowing and the studio. You will then proceed to use the hot glass to make a project which you get to keep. We do have to anneal the pieces overnight so you will have to return the next day to pick them up. The purpose of this class is to provide you with an inexpensive way to find out if glassblowing is for you. It is fun and, we think, quite addicting. About Us Circle 6 Studios began with a simple mission: Promote the growth of art glass and glass artists in the Phoenix area. Founded by John Longo, a glass artist for over 30 years, we began as a small private studio dedicated to providing artists a place to develop their skills and create their work. Over the years we have grown and now provide a variety of services to the public and produce works of art for private and public places. From blown glass chandeliers and vases to metal and glass sculptures along with various other art forms, our gallery, located in downtown Phoenix, offers creations from our studio along with art from other local artists. In addition, at our studio, we offer classes for learning how to work in various glass mediums.
