Ben Eine is one of the UK's most prolific and original street artists. He began making his mark tagging any available surface on the streets of London in the 1980s, eventually adopting the street-name Eine to avoid the attentions of the Metropolitan Police. He is best known for his series of spray-painted letter murals on storefront shutters along London¿s Middlesex Street, or "Alphabet Street," as it has become known. Eine's trademark colorful typography adorns streets in cities all over the world, including LA, Mexico City, and Tokyo.  Ben also creates indoor installations and produces works on canvas in spray paint, acrylic, and glitter.

In 2010, Eine was catapulted to international fame when David Cameron presented one of his works to President Obama on his first official state visit to the White House.

In 2011, Eine was included in the biggest exhibition of street art to date "Art in the Streets" at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MoCA) in Los Angeles. That same year he was invited by Amnesty International to design their 50th anniversary poster, joining other artists such as Picasso and Miro in supporting the charity through art.

In 2014, Eine unveiled his first solo New York show at the Judith Charles gallery on the Bowery. This was complimented with a raft of street pieces from Broadway to the notorious Rikers Island Prison complex where his work took its place alongside pieces by Jose Parla and JR.

Eine's work is currently held in the permanent collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum, London and The Museum of Modern Art, Los Angeles.
