Salsbury Organics has been in business on Mount Desert Island since 1982. Back then they were a 'hardware store' with lawn and garden supplies as a second offering. They have settled into highlighting the organics they have always carried. These products are available both in regular retail packaging and in many cases in larger quantities. Their crew tries very hard to keep up with their products in order to direct customers to the proper pesticides and fertilizers. Along with organics they supply a diverse selection of soils and amendments. They believe they have an incomparable collection of gardening books as well.
