About the wine:

This blend of Zinfandel from two exquisite mountain vineyards in Dry Creek Valley shows off the best qualities of each site. Kemp Vineyard contributes vibrant red fruit to the wine while the old vines of Grist Vineyard add texture and depth. It is a crystal clear garnet color in the glass, and expresses a bouquet of bright wild cherry, strawberry, red licorice, nutmeg and cedar. Intensely flavored as always, and yet finely structured for a Zinfandel, it features gentle tannins, tangy acidity and a luscious, palate coating mouth-feel. Impressions of raspberry jam, confectioner’s sugar and dark chocolate linger on the persistent finish.
