Winemaker Jim Close’s Tasting Note:
Dark deep brick red color. Big beefy aromas of coffee, molasses, cocoa nibs, oolong tea and black raspberry together with the vintage’s signature blackcurrant leaf and sage brush.

The wine has a texturally plush character framing complexflavors of blackberry and cassis with coffee, molasses, cayenne pepper, a hint of fennel and bitter -
sweet chocolate. A long satisfying cocoa - anise laced finish. Drink now or cellar for the next ten years.
