Antique clothing collector Leigh Anne Brown has this to say about her collection of over 100 gowns, "When I first started collecting, it was a history lesson to some degree, but then it really morphed into an exploration of the women's movement. It's a great way to talk about the social, economic and political events that surround the women of each time period. I want people to appreciate the art as well as the history."
