Ms. Raichman says, "With the coming of the redemption, the shofar will be blown joyously. The words of a daily prayer, the "Ameedah", comes out of the shofarot: "Bestow peace, goodness, and blessing, life, graciousness, kindness and mercy, upon us and upon all of Israel."

Deborah Rolnik Raichman is a Brazilian architecht presently living in Houston, Texas. As she became more observant, she started studying Jewish sources and came across the richness of the imagery related to the Hebrew alphabet. Having done watercolor in undergraduate school, she started exploring the mystical meaning of the Hebrew letters in this media, as well as illuminating Hebrew texts such as ketubot which she has been successfully doing since 1990.
