Detailed description of options: Option A - Description: the Toucan Wines gift certificate offers an invite to our home, located next to our winery and our estate vineyard. During your visit, your party will enjoy a sampling of wine on our porch over-looking the vineyard, sample cheeses and freshly baked bread, take an educational walk through the old clone head-trained vineyard and learn its history. We'll visit our limited production winery and share our idea of fine winemaking. This is a private party; we set aside our afternoon to make this a special experience for you and your guests. Toucan Wines is not open to the public, visitors are limited to friends, family, and a few private parties donated to charitable organizations. *Expires 12/31/2015 (#180) - Value $280 min. Toucan Wines is a tiny estate micro-winery, where we produce hand-crafted, estate grown, premium Zinfandel and Petite Sirah wines in the Arroyo Grande Valley. Our limited production of estate wines from our 3½ estate vineyard total less than 300 cases per year. Our micro-climate helps produce an elegant yet forward Zinfandel and Petite Sirah with rich varietal flavors and balanced acidity - making our wines the perfect selection for fine food. We produce every wine without adjustment, and each is carefully aged in only the finest new oak, then hand-bottled unfined and unfiltered. Husband and wife, Doug Timewell and Terrie Leivers farm the vines and produce the wines. We truly are a family winery - we planted the vineyard, we perform the vineyard work, and we produce and bottle the wines in our winery located next to our family home. Small by any standard, our micro-winery is focused on quality - it's our limited production and attention to detail that set our wines apart.
