Donna Rumwell was born in Jacksonville, Fla. Spend early years traveling with her Navy family. She lived in Hawaii, Florida, Canada, Texas, Monterey, Oakland, Los Altos and currently resides in Aptos. 

She Graduated form California college of arts in Oakland with a Major in Fine Arts, and a minor in Arts History. 

She has taught art design and jewelry making at numerous schools and taught 4th and 5th Grade from 1980-2010. She retired to pursue her art career.
