Private Boston Bike Tour and North End Banquet with visionary and historian Craig Kelley

Item Number: 101
Time Left: CLOSED

Description
You may have thought you had seen Boston before: by land, sea or such. But if you really want to pull the carpet up on Beantown, grab a bike (or it can be supplied) and embark on an exciting, 20-mile narrated tour created just for this auction by Cambridge (MA) City Councilman Craig Kelley, and urban planner Sam Seidel.
From witnessing firsthand emerging construction to confront rising sea levels, learning the origin of St Paddy's day on-site in Dorchester, the tour will transfix long-time residents and first time visitors alike on many levels at once. Head out of Cambridge through Bunker Hill and past U.S. Constitution; on to Castle Island and Dorchester Heights, back through South Boston to discuss the thriving new Innovation District's impact on the city. Circle back to the North End for a sumptuous banquet lunch, and on through the Theatre District to end up in Cambridge.
This tour can accomodate up to 8 people and includes lunch for all!
