Building on the centuries-old traditions of European dueling and swordsmanship, modern Olympic fencing turns a once fatal practice into a safe and enjoyable sport.

Join the San Francisco Fencers Club for one month of fun with the foil. In this month long class, your child will receive an introduction to the art of fencing.  Every class will include warm-ups, footwork, attacks and fundamentals of defensive actions and bouting with a partner. This fun class will enable your child to learn the beginner's basic strategy of foil fencing, as well as expose him or her to the modern art of fencing.
