One student will get a behind-the-scenes look at Texas Public Radio. He or she will shadow Joyce Slocum, the President & CEO, for the day, have the chance to meet the journalists and to understand what it takes to support the journalists’ work, and to observe the production of TPR’s live talk show, “The Source.” The opportunity will also include a day sponsorship, which the student will get to record in his or her own voice, to acknowledge a special day for a friend or loved one. That message will air five times on the scheduled day. And, of course, the package will include a TPR t-shirt and tote bag.
