One lucky student will have the exclusive opportunity to accompany Dr. Ben Espy, San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo veterinarian, for an exciting day with the official “rodeo vet” during the 2016 Rodeo. Dr. Espy has been the veterinarian for San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo since 1996, and has a particular interest in fostering children’s exposure to agricultural education. He will host your child for an extra-special day-in- the-life opportunity to shadow him as he cares for the animals participating in or being shown, and to learn first-hand about the challenges and rewards of being a livestock veterinarian. This behind-the-scenes experience is sure to be life-changing for the animal lover in your family! Date during 2016 Rodeo subject to mutual agreement.
