After 24 years of serving the Seattle community, SZMANIA’S Restaurant is under new ownership. As of April 2014, Chef Michael Rogozinski and wife, Carolyn have succeeded long-time owners Chef Ludger and Julie Szmania. Michael is a renowned Seattle chef who was educated at the Culinary Institute of America in New York and pursued his love of fine food by studying his craft at Le Grenadin in Paris. Michael gained a devoted following during his career as the executive chef in several of Seattle’s favorite restaurants including Ray's and The Pink Door plus Sheraton Hotels and Resorts. Look for exciting changes to come to in the Spring of 2014, but with the same delicious food you've come to expect from Szmania's, with just a few surprises!
