Rit managed a salon and was an educator for PR@Partners Salons before choosing to pursue high fashion and television programming styling.  Rit was personally hired by Ted Gibson at Hela/Ted Gibson salon in Chevy Chase, where he styled hair for Fashion Week shows at Carmen Marc Valvo, Lela Rose and Ruben Toledo as well as for celebrities Lauren Hutton, Lynda Carter, Leslie Moonves and Miss Sweden. 

Rit's credits include, elite stylist at NY Fashion Week/Project Runway, guest stylist on Ambush Make-Overs, and also styled on the set of Bravo's Real Housewives of DC.

Areas of expertise

Rit trained at Vidal Sassoon in Los Angeles to learn precision cutting and attended classes at TIGI International in New York to learn edgy, textured styles.
