Each workshop enrolls a maximum of 7 students and is led by a published, award-winning writer and teacher trained in our workshop method. Applying an integrated and student-centered approach to teaching writing and allowing lessons to arise organically from their writing. Students are challenged to set and achieve writing goals: they are encouraged to complete at least one well-developed, polished piece throughout the course of their workshop.Students develop facility with technology as they write on our laptops, utilize the internet for research, and store their work on online accounts. Through the innovative workshop method, students are empowered as peer leaders as they gain skills in writing, editing, analysis, and effective communication.
