This basket was part of a May Series that began in 1990 as a tribute to Grandma Bonnie Longaberger, the founder, Dave Longaberger's mother. In 2008, she was celebrating her 100th birthday and this basket was woven in honor of her 100th birthday. Grandma Bonnie, as she was known to us, always wanted to see a basket inspired by the early spring blooms she knew as Easter lilies. This was the 14th in the series of flower baskets honoring her love of flowers.

On the bottom of this basket is the burned-in signature of Bonnie Longaberger, dated and initaled by the weaver.
