On Thursday, August 27, Billy Joel returns to Wrigley Field for another evening of hits from this consummate pop icon. From start to finish, Joel is known for providing a reliably buoyant, bounding performance at his gigs, and for being eager to thrill his adoring audience with upbeat renditions of his old favorites.

The performance will mark Billy Joel’s record setting fourth performance and firmly establishes him as the all time leader in concert ticket sales at Wrigley Field. In honor of this record setting performance the Cubs will create an original flag for the event. Those flags will fly from the 28 flagpoles on the Wrigley Field roof on the day of the concert signifying the Piano Man’s unprecedented accomplishment.
