Christine Hoskinson, agent and owner of the State Farm agency at 2332 W. Belmont (only a couple blocks from Lane Tech), invites the winning student to spend the day learning about a career in the Insurance and Financial Services industry. The student will get an overview of what kinds of jobs are available and will shadow team members to explore the different roles/positions within an insurance agency.

Ms. Hoskinson will also spend time with the student discussing what it means to own your own business.

Job shadowing is an effective and efficient way for a high school junior or senior to gather information when choosing colleges, college programs, and majors!
