Spend the day with one of the most experienced physical therapists at Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers/Athletico! Join Maureen George, President of Friends of Lane to see how Physical therapists, sometimes called PTs, help injured or ill people improve their movement and manage their pain. PTs are often an important part of rehabilitation and treatment of patients with chronic conditions or injuries including athletes and people recovering from surgeries.
This is a busy outpatient facility. You will be shadowing a full day of patient treatment, and will be exposed to different therapies and equipment to treat a variety of conditions.
Job shadowing is an effective and efficient way for a high school junior or senior to gather information when choosing colleges, college programs, and majors!
Special Instructions
Business casual attire. Shadowing will take place at the Accelerated/Athletico facility at 2400 N. Sheffield in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.
Lunch is not included with this shadow day. Student may bring their own.
