What is a nephrologist? A nephrologist is a medical doctor who specializes in kidney care and treating diseases of the kidneys. During your shadow day, you will travel to Evanston Hospital (2650 Ridge Road in Evanston) where you will attend teaching conferences, patient rounds, divisional meetings and research rounds, and participate in outpatient patient visits and dialysis rounds. 

And yes, you'll get a set of souvenir scrubs to take home when your day is done!
