Sewataro is a family-run summer day camp. We are involved in the entire camp operation and take a personal interest in each camper. We feel Sewataro has something special to offer children, and we look forward to having you become part of the Sewataro family.
At Sewataro, children leave behind flickering screens and frantic schedules to swim, play, and create together in woods, meadows, fields and ponds.

Family owned and operated

We are involved in the entire camp operation and take a personal interest in each camper. Alba believed that every child benefits physically, socially and emotionally from being exposed to a broad range of experiences in a safe environment, as well as a strong connection with nature. We are committed to Alba’s vision and direct our program with these ideals as the building blocks.
North woods setting and facilities

Sewataro offers an un-equalled setting in our area. When you walk onto the grounds, you’ll feel like you’re stepping into a camp in Maine or New Hampshire. Mark, following his grandfather’s commitment to excellence, takes great pride in maintaining the facilities and natural beauty of our property.
Staff retention and experience

Over 75% of our staff return every year. Many staff members have made a long term commitment to Sewataro and feel a personal dedication and enthusiasm for their summer role. A large percentage of our staff members are experienced teachers and college students studying to be teachers; people who have chosen to devote themselves to enriching children’s lives.
AN OVERNIGHT CAMP EXPERIENCE IN A DAY CAMP SETTING.
