Ranger Ted will work with you and your family to design and lead a hiking adventure. 

Ranger Ted is committed to sharing the great outdoors with people of all ages and abilities one hiking adventure at a time. He believes that ground level interaction with the natural world (hiking, climbing, wondering, touching, seeing, asking, listening) greatly enhances the physical and mental health of all people. He believes that greater bio-diversity is the key to a healthy planet which includes all species of animals and plants of which we humans are an integral part. Furthermore, Ranger Ted knows that children who explore the natural world in independent and imaginative ways learn a multitude of skills including confidence, leadership, curiousness, patience, stewardship and problem solving to name just a few.

Ranger Ted is a certified California Naturalist and is trained in Wilderness First Aid. He's a former social studies teacher with a Master's degree in Social Studies Education. He's a husband and father living in Atwater Village with his wife and three month old daughter. He's been a working actor, writer, director and teacher in Los Angeles for 21 years.
