Appointment lasts an hour and a half and includes a thorough health evaluation, acupuncture treatment and ends with a 10 minute muscle relaxation exercise.
Melissa Uribe, B.A., M.Ac., L.Ac.
Melissa is a Licensed Acupuncturist practicing in Tucson, AZ. She earned her Masters Degree from the Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, where she worked part time as the Assistant Dean and currently as a Supervisor of clinic interns.
Her goal is to provide you with comprehensive and compassionate care. Health is in the creation and maintenance of a balanced life. Melissa works with her patients to create a treatment plan that will further your ability to live life with more ease, gratitude and comfort in your body, mind and spirit.
Melissa's life work is in the transformation of physical, emotional and spiritual health. In her work she has successfully treated various stages and levels of pain, including but not limited to sciatica, migraines, shoulder and back pain, carpal tunnel, and digestive challenges. Melissa has also found great success in working with emotional challenges that are faced by numerous people including depression (including post partum), anxiety, insomnia, infertility, and erectile dysfunction. Melissa has a unique gift to bring about deep seated changes.
Her specialty is in Quantum Energetic Disciplines. This work allows us to shift areas of limitations and areas where we would prefer to have different experiences with a gentle touch. The processes can be life changing. Sessions are offered on their own and occasionally as part of an Acupuncture treatment.
