Description

This auction is for a 20" wide x 10" high matted print of "Jake's" by artist Jeanne Morrison.

A watercolor painted in 2000, Jake’s started with a single store in what many
folks thought was a forsaken part of town. Located at 676 Highland Avenue in the Old Fourth Ward, the Jake’s flagship store was created in a dilapidated turn-of-the-century storefront. (jakesicecream.com)

Jeanne Morrison is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina. Before retiring her gypsy lifestyle and making Atlanta her home in 1993, she took tea in Washington, DC, Ireland and New York. Jeanne is a self-taught artist who has been painting professionally since 1979.
