The Family History of Cooper Farms..."At age 12 Tim Cooper began picking peaches as a summer job at Fairfield Farms, then owned by the late Ralph K. Alexander, the same orchard where be later met Kathy, now his wife, when he hired her to sell peaches. It was the start of a summer career that he enjoyed all the way through high school. He’s been picking peaches ever since. Tim planted 1,000 trees to create his first orchard in 1978. Tim and Kathy married in 1983.
