2004 California Cabernet Sauvignons are becoming scarce. This wine comes from Valentine Vineyards, a small, family-run winery in southern Mendocino.   Owner Bob Valentine sells off much of the fruit, making small amounts for his own label. This wine has plenty of structure for the cellar, but it is also delicious now with a bit of air. Sweet cassis fruit on the palate entry. Rich and round with smooth tannins.
