Chef Carder began his career in a small Texas and Louisiana style barbeque house in Santa Cruz. Upon his return to Los Angeles, he began honing his talents in classic and contemporary French cooking, spending over five years with the Patina Group. When recruited by Cafe Bizou in Santa Monica, Chef Carder became the youngest exeuctive chef in Los Angeles at the age of 24. He has been Executive Chef at Plate 38 for the last two years.
Indulge in a four-course menu which includes:
- salad starter
- pan-seared sole or frogs legs appetizer
- duck confit or rabbit entree, and to top it all off
- foie gras creme brûlée.
