Winemaker Notes:

Our lightest Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant expression of Diamond Mountain District. This blend of our five single vineyards all within this AVA offers a softer, approachable style highlighted by its fruit forward nature. Immediate nose is pleasing with dark fruit of blueberry and blackberry layered with fig and pie spice. Finishes off with supple tannis to enjoy now or up to 10 years.

Wine Enthusiast - 92 Points - This is the least expensive of Von Strasser’s 07 Cabs, but it’s just about as good as the vineyard selections, which makes it a relative bargain. Dry and rich in refined tannins, it shows blackberry, black currant, cassis and mineral flavors, and should develop over the next 4–5 years.
