Far Niente – “without a care” is exactly how you will feel when enjoying a tour and tasting at the legendary and magical winery, Far Niente. Your tour for four adults includes a walk through the state of the art wine making facility and caves, an opportunity to view the stunning gardens and the proprietor’s classic automobile collection. The seated, guided tasting concludes the experience where guests will enjoy Far Niente current and older vintages as well as a tasting of the current vintage of Dolce. A small food pairing will accompany the wines.
In addition, the winner of this lot will receive a 1.5L of the 2013 Far Niente Chardonnay – which greets the senses with aromas of ripe melon, fig and citrus. A creamy smooth entry leads to a rich mid-palate, layered with ripe tropical fruit and toasted hazelnuts. The finish is long and mouthwatering with well-integrated oak and spice.

Collection of California Sales Tax: Unless a valid resale permit is presented to seller prior to the sale, purchaser will be required to pay all state and local retail sales taxes applicable on the date of sale. Resale permits will be accepted only for businesses that are reasonably expected to buy and sell wine. Sales tax will be collected on the winning auction price of each lot that contains tangible goods.
Shipping or Pick up of Wines: Shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Non-Napa County winners must arrange for their wines to be shipped from the storage facility at 55 Degrees, St. Helena, by Friday, February 27, 2015. If you're the lucky winner, we'll call you with directions for this.
Napa County winners of auction lots containing wine may pick up their wines at the St. Helena office of the UpValley Family Centers beginning Thursday, February 26, 2015. If you are the lucky winner, we'll call you with details.
