Description
A Day at Dana Estates — The Spirit of Generosity
Luncheon for 8 at Dana Estates with Private Tour and Tasting
Your experience begins with a private tour of the fabulous Dana Estates winery, designed by Howard Backen, followed by a stroll through the Lee Family gardens. Then, your luncheon awaits, and will be paired with the exquisite Dana Estate wines made by winemaker Philippe Melka. It will be an unforgettable afternoon and a cultural awakening of the senses!
Dana Estates is dedicated to making small lots of truly distinctive, world-class wines. Their dedication to perfection was rewarded with a perfect 100 point score from Robert Parker for the Dana Estates 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon, Lotus Vineyard.
Dana is a Sanskrit term meaning, “the Spirit of Generosity.” It is in this spirit that the owners and team express a profound appreciation for those who have worked the soil before, as they build on the foundations laid by previous generations of vintners. Blending history and tradition with cutting edge vineyard management, a new state of the art winery and artisanal winemaking, Dana Estates strives to make the greatest wines possible, providing a link in the chain for future generations of vintners and all those who appreciate the ‘generosity’ of their special land.
