90 minute Lacrosse Clinic for up to 9 kids with former Duke Lacrosse Players


Perfect for a Team outing or a Birthday party for youths of any age who love playing lacrosse!


The clinic will begin with lacrosse fundamentals, such as stick work, positioning, offensive and defensive play; adjusting to the experience level of the participants. Tony McDevitt will share some techniques he learned at Duke and playing professionally for the Major League Lacrosse NJ Pride and Long Island Lizards. He¿ll share what it takes to play lacrosse at the college level and the life lessons it has taught him on and off the field.

About Tony McDevitt, Clinic Coach: 


Tony McDevitt, Duke '07 and Duke MBA '09.  Tony started over 100 games as a defenseman on the Duke lacrosse team from 2004-2008.  Tony captained the team in 2007 and 2008, and was a member of 3 Final Four teams (2005, 2007, 2008).  Tony was a 3X All-American, 3X Academic All-American, and 2X All-ACC pick.  He was drafted as the 2nd overall defenseman in the 2008 MLL draft, and played one year for the New Jersey Pride and three years for the Long Island Lizards.  Lastly, Tony created a lacrosse camp, Philly's Finest, for underprivileged kids in the Philadelphia area; and is now in his 8th year of running this camp. 


 


 


 

Special Instructions

Winning Bidder and Tony McDevitt will agree on a mutually convenient date and location in the New York City area for the clinic. Lacrosse sticks and balls will not be provided.
