Our Clark & Telephone Vineyard is located on a mesa in the coastal weather channel of the Santa Maria Valley. This maritime site, planted 'own root' to the Martini clone in 1972, yield loose clusters with small, intensely-flavored berries. Through intensive pruning and crop-thinning tehniques, we are able to bring the composition of these grapes into balance of harvest while preserving the spice-box notes, elegant texture and rich fruit core that are the hallmarks of the site.
