Vintage 1978 signed Kopel Gurwin print mounted on 3/16" poster board. Poster board is mounted on a 3" wood frame. Dimensions: 17" x 28".
Kopel Gurwin (1923-1990) was a Jewish artist known for creating tapestries with traditional Jewish themes. He used a technique called felt applique, in which the artist cuts, pins and sews together many colorful pieces of felt to create an image. His tapestries can be found hanging at Ben Gurion Airport and various places in the US, Canada, and Israel.

If the winner is a member of the Los Encinos School community, no shipping charge will be assessed, and the winner may pick the item up at Los Encinos School once a distribution day is announced (approx 5 days after the auction closes and payments are processed).
For other winning bidders, a shipping charge of $25 will be added to the winning bid for this item. The item will be shipped by UPS with tracking once the auction is closed and payment has been processed. If one bidder wins multiple items, we will attempt to consolidate shipping and reduce charges. Based on size, shape and packaging of some items, this may not always be possible.
