Description
For 22 seasons, 42nd Street Moon has celebrated uncommon musicals from the Golden Age of Broadway. The winning bidder will enjoy two VIP tickets to one performance during the remainder of the 2014/2015 season or for the 2015/2016 season of 42ns Street Moon.
Playing in the 2014-15 season:
Nick and Nora (April 1-19, 2015)
This "lost" musical, not seen since its original Broadway run, features those iconic sleuths from Dashiell Hammett's
The Thin Man, Nick and Nora Charles! Wit and mayhem co-exist in 1930s Hollywood as a studio bookkeeper is murdered and everyone's a suspect. Can the Charleses solve the crime?
Where's Charlie? (April 29-May 17, 2015)
Frank Loesser's first Broadway musical is one of his best - a lighthearted adaptation of
Charley's Aunt. When his aunt is delayed for a visit, Charley grabs a wig and dress and the impersonation is on!
Inventing Champagne: the Alan Jay Lerner Salon (May 11-12, 2015)
One of America's greatest Broadway and film lyricists, Alan Jay Lerner wrote four Broadway classics with Frederick Loewe: My Fair Lady, Brigadoon, Camelot, and Paint Your Wagon. He also collaborated with the likes of John Barry, Leonard Bernstein, Burton Lane, Charles Strouse, and Kurt Weill.
