Lower School PE teacher Candice Barnhart and Upper School Art teacher Pedro Mena participated in the Bold Italic's first Creativity Conference at SF Jazz last fall. They were partnered with the founders of Los Angeles' The Noun Project to create designs for their KindSigns project, an art project that encourages people to create signs that communicate personalized, provocative messages to challenge, inspire, and delight those around them.

The Noun Project's mission is to "create, share, and celebrate the world's visual language" using icons, symbols, and words to engage people around the world. Ms. Barnhart and Mr. Mena particpated in a series of creative brainstorm and collaborative exercises that ultimately led to these original designs. 

They hope you enjoy them as much as they enjoyed making them! Signs are 8" x 6" and printed on metal.
