She has also performed as a jazz vocalist with the Michael Carney Big Band Orchestra in New York City. As a vocal and acting instructor, she has taught at the Coconut Grove Playhouse in Miami and in A.C.T.'s Master of Fine Arts Program in Acting, Summer Training Congress, Studio A.C.T, and Young Conservancy. For the past 13 years, Frances has served on the faculty of Studio A.C.T., where she teaches singing, cabaret, and musical theater and directs the spring musical. With credentials like that, who wouldn't walk away feeling like they could take on Broadway!
