This concentrated Pinot Noir comes from a single vineyard perched high on a ridge between Petaluma and Sonoma, exposed to both wind and fog from the Pacific Ocean. Thin, well-drained volcanic soils and gusty winds keep yields low and flavors and aromas highly concentrated. A heritage selection of Pommard gives pure dark cherry fruit while Dijon clones that thrive in the cold climate provide firm structure and velvety richness to the wine.
