Two tickets, each admitting one person to the "Mansion Tour" at Nemours Mansion and Gardens located at Alapocas Drive and Powder Mill Road in Wilmington, DE.
A guided tour reveals a treasure trove of fine European and American furniture, rare rugs, tapestries and outstanding works of art at the historic home of Alfred duPont.
Nemours Mansion and Gardens will be open May 1st through December 31st.

Alfred duPont married Alicia, his second wife, in 1907 and loved showering her with gifts. By far the grandest of these was the spectacular new house that he built for her on a 3,000-acre plot of land in Wilmington. He hired Carrere and Hastings, a prestigious New York architectural firm, to design the mansion in the late-18th-century French style that Alicia adored. Alfred named the estate Nemours, after the French town that his great-great-grandfather represented in the French Estates General. While looking to the past and his ancestors for inspiration, Alfred also ensured that his new home was thoroughly modern by incorporating the latest technology and many of his own inventions...

Please call ahead for reservations.
There are a variety of surfaces and levels in the garden and grounds. The tour also involves climbing several staircases so guests are asked to take their physical condition into account when making reservations.
Tours are two and half to three hours in duration.
All guests must be 12 years of age or older.
The Mansion is ADA accessible but please be aware that the gardens are not. However, they can be viewed and enjoyed by bus. Guests requiring special assistance are encouraged to contact the Reservation Office (302-651-6913).
Animals are not permitted on the premises. Service Animals, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act and applicable regulations, are permitted.
