Yukie Kanagawa started teaching ballet classes at Valley Japanese Community Center (located in Sun Valley, CA) in 2014. She was a professional ballet dancer at one of the leading ballet companies, Asami Maki Ballet Tokyo, "AMBT" (http://www.ambt.jp/), in Japan. While she was a member of the AMBT, she toured as a dancer all over Japan. In addition, she taught ballet at a ballet academy owned by AMBT.
Classical ballet is the basic foundation of all types of dances. What you learn in ballet translates to values that can be used to pursue other forms of dance by improving balance and flexibility, increasing agility, and developing discipline and dedication.
All levels are welcome. Class schedule: Kids Wed 4-5pm & Sat 1-2pm. Adults Wed 2-3pm & Sat 2-3pm.
Classes taught at Valley Japanese Community Center, 8850 Lankershim Blvd. Sun Valley, CA 91352.
Special Instructions
Expires December 2015. If you continue lessons after one month, an additional $40 annual membership to Valley Japanese Community Center is required.
This item will be available for pick up on Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 2:30 - 4:00pm at the Verdugo Woodlands Dads’ Club, 1728 Canada Blvd., Glendale, CA 91208 (in between the field and the fire station).
