Aldo’s Restaurant sits on the site of the Janssens-Orella Adobe House, built in 1857, a Santa Barbara Historic Landmark. After the major earthquake of 1925, The Copper Coffee Pot Restaurant, a wildly succesfull Spanish Cafeteria was constructucted in 1927 and operated until the early 1980’s. Aldo’s Restaurant was founded in 1986 with the intenttion of serving quality and authentic Italian food to Santa Barbara residents.

Brad Sherman, the current Owner of Aldo’s has been in the restaurant business for 30 years. With a focus of natural and healthy ingredients, his extensive experience in the food and service industry makes Aldo’s Italiand Restaurant an enjoyable and welcoming experience for all of our guests.

Today at Aldo’s Restaurant, we strive to provide locals and world travelers visiting Santa Barbara with great Italian food. We have something for everybody from vegan or vegetarian dishes to beloved traditional Italian dishes people know and love.
