GDS students and their teacher combine forces to ensure the most artistic and efficient tree-planting for your yard. Perry Degener (7th grade English and 8th grade history teacher) will be the digger and the planter of the tree. He will choose, purchase, transport, and plant a 10-gallon fruit tree replete with poetic accompaniments, on a mutually convenient day in June 2015. Seventh grade poets will provide haiku poems that Perry will hang on the tree branches, ensuring a pleasing aura for the newly planted tree.
