Description
Experience science in action first hand with our GDS LS science teacher, Eric Friedenson, as you float along the Potomac River in a canoe. Eric will join your child and three of his/her friends as they explore an island, scramble over different kinds of rocks, watch cormorant fish, scan the skies for eagles, search for slithering snakes, go for a swim, and splash down some Class l and ll rapids. This is a fantastic learning experience not to be missed!
Special Instructions
Expires 6/3/15. This item is available for up to four children, PK-5th grade. Parents are responsible for drop off and pick up near the Old Angler's Inn along the Potomac River near the beltway. Parents are also responsible for providing personal snacks for their children. Date and time to be mutually agreed upon after school, early evening, or weekends. Exclusive to GDS community.
