Description
Have you ever admired those beautiful decorated eggs from the Ukraine? Have you wondered how they do that?
Well now you too can learn how to create these elaborate works of Art. High School English teacher, Nina, will teach up to 12 individuals how to make your own Pysanky in a group session on Thursday, April 2 from 7-9 pm in the HS kitchen. We will turn an ordinary, whole egg into a remarkable keepsake. Students will learn to basic motifs, division and design of the egg, use of kistka (writing tool), dyeing, removing wax, and finishing. Everyone will take home a remarkable piece of art at the end of class.
Special Instructions
Class is open to adults and children. Children under the age of 12, must be accompanied by a paying adult. This item is exclusive to the GDS community.
