Currier & Ives English Ironstone Plate donated by Antiques on the Farmington
Manufactured by Adams, a member of the Wedgwood Group.
Scene on plate depicts two river boats (Natchez and Eclipse) at night on a river - entitled "Midnight Race on the Mississippi." Highlights of green, yellow, and brown accent the images. Outer rim of plate has a raised vine pattern. There is some slight crazing to the glaze, but no chips or cracks are visible.
Back of plate has a large stamp.
Plate measures 10 3/4 inches in diameter.
