Artist Ludmila Sienkiewicz is a Dutch painter who lives and works in Corrèze, France. Her portraits of dogs are modern and colorful, painted in a direct, expressive style using acrylic paints.

To paint the portrait of your dog, she will need some of your favorite photographs – she may use multiple photos to make up the perfect composition. Her aim is to bring out the spirit and essence of the dog – not to replicate the photo exactly.

When she starts painting, she will check with you to be sure you like what she's doing (underpaintings). She takes photos of the painting process – usually about 4 photos so that the whole painting process is clear. This allows you to enjoy seeing the painting come to life and helps you to know that it really is an actual painting – not a digital print. The whole portrait takes about 1 week and the shipment usually takes about 2 weeks from France to the USA.
