Description

An 8" x 8" original photograph of dew-covered purple crocuses, printed on canvas and accented with beaded braille poetry. The lavender-colored seed beads convey an excerpt from a poem by Emily Dickinson in uncontracted braille. The poetry highlights the sun-kissed crocuses captured in their gentle and natural setting, and the texture of the beads invokes the gleam of the dew drops clinging to the flowers' petals. The edges of the canvas stretch the colors of the pixels around the sides of the frame. This unique work of Braille Art is a conversation-starter and will add a singular and unexpected touch to any room.

The beading in braille reads:

     I dwell in possibility

     Emily Dickinson

Original handmade braille gifts and handcrafted braille art by Beadtography. Please be aware that our Braille Art uses uncontracted (Grade 1) braille and that the beading is done by hand, so it will not be perfectly aligned or of absolutely uniform size, due to the variable nature of the beads and the realities of handcrafting. Each piece is dated and initialed by the artists.
