John is of Greek descent born in the United States. With a strong european influenced upbringing, a natural understanding of geometry and his studies of art, fashion & design; it’s no surprise that these elements grew into a talent for beautiful hairdressing. He has a British trained technical background which is obvious when you see him work with such a disciplined eye. His creativity was noticed by the infamous Suga who invited John to join the creative team of his New York salon, where he grew enormously. In 1990 when Suga passed away John chose to team up with Laurance LaCause, spread his wings & take flight. Today he is a strong element in the operation and image of "A PRIVATE STUDIO" and knows that he has a solid home to express what he feels beautiful hair should be.
