Description

A day of catching Dungeness crab and if the season allows, trying for some Chinook, Coho, and Pink salmon. All aboard a trusty, 15' Arima Sea Explorer boat.

Special Instructions

Special notes for the interested bidder:

  1. Must be between July 1, 2015 and September 1, 2015.

  2. Pickup will be by boat at either the Bell Harbor Marina in Downtown Seattle or the dock in West Seattle next to the Marination restaurant.

  3. Good for two adults or one adult and two children-your call. Just a heads up that children under 10 generally fall asleep on the boat in the small (very small) cuddy or end up getting sea sick. Like I said, your call.

  4. Must have crab license or salmon and crab license. You will take what you catch. I will clean salmon for you and if we can arrange it, cook and clean the crab for you. Children under 14 are eligible for free license at sporting goods stores.

  5. Our chances are much greater (about one million percent) of getting Dungeness crab over salmon but we would be foolish not to try to catch some salmon if we are out on the boat. All gear will be provided including life jackets.

  6. I'll provide lunch after you provide me with any special food requests.

  7. We can make this a 3 hour day or an 8 hour day, I am flexible. But ideally we do this on a Thursday or Friday-there will be less people on the water and it is safer that way.

  8. This trip will take some planning and coordination after the auction.

  9. I'm going to need to come up with a waiver that you'll need to sign in case something goes terribly wrong, but overall I tend to be overly-cautious and attentive while on the water.
