Gramophonic, a DC-based folk/roots combo, will offer a two-hour performance at the event of the auction winner's choice. The band consists of guitar, cello, accordion, mandolin, percussion, and vocals and plays a wide variety of folk, blues, bluegrass, and pop/rock material depending on the occasion. It has performed at numerous area venues including the Kingman Island Bluegrass Festival, Clarendon Day Festival, Rock & Roll Hotel, and Iota. Special Instructions
Gramophonic will travel to any location within 25 miles of zip code 20009 on a date and time to be arranged between the band and the auction winner. The performance can be either amplified or acoustic, at the auction winner's discretion. Though Gramophonic can tailor the tone and genre within reason, the specific song selection is ultimately at the band's discretion.
